How to Merge Unallocated Disk Space to C Drive (System, Primary) in Windows?

"Merge Unallocated Space to C Drive"

In my laptop, the first disk was partitioned into C & D drives. C drive is only 10gb and D drive is 65gb. So I deleted all files on D partition. Now it says unallocated partition with no drive letter. I tried to format it thinking ... by this it will be empty and I'll be able to merge it back to C drive. However, I have no idea how to merge unallocated space to C drive. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

The question above comes from a customer. Do you have the same problem? Do you need to merge unallocated space by deleting other partition? Does this method work on all Windows operating systems? Generally speaking, no one likes to delete anything. And you can't merge unallocated space to C drive even if deleting other partition. As the "Extend Volume" feature is only available in Windows 8/7/Vista/2008. Besides, you can not move partition if there are partitions between C drive and unallocated space.

Merge unallocated space without deleting and formatting

In fact, you can merge unallocated space to primary partition without deleting and formatting by using server partition manager – AOMEI Partition Assistant Server Edition, which is compatible with all the Windows operating systems (Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 and none-server Windows 7/XP/Vista/2000). In addition to merging unallocated space, it also allows you to resize/move, merge, split, copy partitions without losing data, extend NTFS system partition without reboot, allocate free space, copy disk, etc.

Note: Be cautious of deleting or formatting your partitions, because you will erase your iPhone backup unintentionally. If you have already done, I strongly recommend you to use a reliable iPhone data recovery tool to restore iPhone contacts, texts, photos, WhatsApp, notes, Safari bookmarks, videos, etc from iOS device and backup file for free.
