When encountering low disk space problem, many Windows 7 users would like to utilize built-in Disk Manager to expand volume space. Sure, Windows 7 do offers such a function, but there is a premise to Windows 7 Disk Manager to extend partition, that is, unallocated space. Generally, there are always other volumes rather than unallocated space contiguous behind C drive, which means you can hardly extend C drive with built-in Disk Management tool. Therefore, Windows 7 users must turn to other utilities to resize partition, such as AOMEI Partition Assistant.
Step1: Launch AOMEI Disk Manger to get its main interface.
Step2: Right click D and select "Resize" option in the drop-down menu.
Step3: In the pop-up Window, right click left borderline to rightwards to shrink D.
After this step there will be unallocated space contiguous behind C drive.
Step4: Right-click C and select "Resize" option. In the pop-up window, drag the right borderline rightwards to expand C into the unallocated space.
After this step C drive will be extended.
Step5: Click "Apply" button on the toolbar to commit all the changes.
